Proactive Gaming - Uniting gaming and gambling

STOCKHOLM, Januari 23, 2013 — Proactive Gaming, the latest Swedish super-Gazelle, has signed a record contract, with Sweden’s leading licensed bingo provider, Idrottens Spel, en route for a platform expansion in Europe and South America.

“Our cooperation with Proactive Gaming has been extremely creative and will result in an astonishing bingo product,” said Jenny Jansson, leading the bingo project for IdrottensSpel, set to be launched in 2013.
The contract is the latest boost for Proactive Gaming, which has been Sweden’s fastest growing company during the last four years with a staggering growth of 3473%. Swedish Prince Carl-Philip Bernadotte recently awarded Proactive Gaming for its achievement, with the super-Gazelle, a trophy set up by Sweden’s leading business magazine Dagens Industri.

The smartest e-gaming platform
While the initial growth rate has built on a 3D poker platform, bingo is the next big thing for the software provider.
“Having already built one of the World’s most modern and intelligent platforms for gaming, we’re now using this foundation to build a state-of-the-art bingo, in cooperation with one of the most experienced companies in the bingo domain,” said Pal Burman, CEO of Proactive Gaming.
The new platform, designed for bingo, poker, lotteries and social gaming, works on all-devices – desktop, tablets and mobiles – it’s scalable up to hundreds of thousands of simultaneous players, comes with a powerful and flexible back office, and is easily integrate-able with virtually any external system.
“Using the platform, we can easily build and deploy existing and new multiplayer game concepts, and we intend to do so,” Burman said.

Europe and South America
With Europe being its home market, Burman has great hope of expanding the bingo into South America.
“It’s a continent we ‘re aiming at working in, having a great bingo tradition and a market ready for our platform.”
While the staff of Proactive gaming has an experience of more than 200 years from gaming and gambling, matching hi-tech with social trends in e-gaming, IdrottensSpel has treated Sweden to bingo and lotteries for 30 years, currently from 22 bingo halls in Sweden.

Proactive Gaming founder Mattias Andersson and CEO Pål Burman receiving the Super-Gazelle award with Swedish Prince Carl Philip to the right.

Stockholm — Proactive Gaming, boasting to take fun seriously, was awarded the 2012 super-Gazelle Monday, as Sweden’s fastest growing company.”
The latest success-story in Swedish e-gaming, was presented the award by Prince Carl-Philip in the annual event at the Swedish concert hall – the same venue as for next week’s Nobel Prize ceremonies.

Uniting gaming and gambling both in a 3D-platform, and in a new all-device web-based platform for poker, bingo, lotteries and social entertainment games, the young company has boosted sales dramatically since the start in 2006. Only 0,5% of all Swedish companies match the Gazelle criterion, set up by the leading Nordic business magazine Dagens Industri. In the finals, Proactive Gaming stunned the opposition when becomingthe super-Gazelle with a staggering growth of 3 473%, and a positive operating profit in the last four years.

Strategic gamification
“We’re a hi-tech company matching the social trend in e-gaming with our products. But even so, the success we have had comes down to the people we work with, developers and clients,” said Proactive Gaming’s CEO Pål Burman. “The staff has 200+ years of experience from gaming and gambling. And although we produce entertainment, we do it seriously and with great responsibility running a system so stable that hasn’t failed us or our clients a single time since 2010.”
While Burman emphasized on experience and stability as the key factors to success, founder Mattias Andersson lifted flexibility and creativity as the winning formula: “We try to do virtually daily changes on the platform to suit our clients, who have direct contact with the end-users,” Andersson said. “And our next cash-cow is a strategic and entertaining gamification of games, campaigns and presentations from companies who want their target groups to enjoy their information.”

Release of the ultimate multiplayer platform
Proactive Gaming supply their entertainment-games and platform to e-gaming companies, mainly in Europe, who market the games under their own brand. Living up to the definition of a business gazelle – “a company with the necessary technology to be able to compete and the size to respond rapidly to changes” – the team is currently on the verge of releasing an all-device platform for poker, bingo and lotteries inspired by HTML5. The new platform has already been sold to clients in poker and bingo as well as lotteries. “It will be the first platform of its kind, able to handle hundreds of thousands of simultaneous players on web, tablets and mobile phones,” CEO Pål Burman said. “We will release the platform for poker, bingo and lotteries to start with, but could basically handle any multiplayer software game, and it’s our intention to do so.” Burman said.

Mattias Andersson (left) receives the Gazelle award from Peter Bodin, CEO and Chairman of Grant Thornton International

Dagens Industri awarded Proactive Gaming the 2012 Gazelle for their outstanding growth in the last four years in the Swedish region of Östergötland.
At the same prize ceremony, Google followed suit and presented the dynamic company as the first ever Digital Gazelle for their online achievements.
Only 0,5% of Sweden’s companies match the criterias to be a Gazelle (see below). A super-Gazelle of Sweden will be presented December 3 in Stockholm with region winner Proactive Gaming as one of the front-runners.

“It’s a great boost for our developers and 3D-artists who have created a 3D gambling platform that is unique in the World.” said Mattias Andersson, founder of Proactive Gaming.
“The staff have +200 years of experience from gaming and gambling and the entertainment we offer is built on a stable system that hasn’t failed us or our clients a single time since 2010” Andersson said.

The new platform will be in 2D, but the developers of the Norrköping-based team have already started their research for a 3D-version.
“We like to be on the edge of technology and it’s our next challenge to take true 3D into the mobile gambling platforms.”
Andersson said.

The Gazelle award, presented by the Swedish financial magazine Dagens Industri, is presented to companies that “has achieved a continuous growth in revenue or gross profit for the last four financial years, and which has, in total, more than doubled the revenue or the gross profit in the period”.

The 3D-artists from Proactive Gaming LTD will, in cooperation with Italian colleagues, boost the looks and impressions of the avatars in one of the World’s few true 3D-poker-rooms.
The project aimed at adding life to the avatars has focused on creating movements and smiles in eyes and mouths of the avatars. Studies have shown that the eye and mouth are the first thing we look at, and for a 3D-artist, it’s the most challenging area to imitate in the attempt to make the characters as human as possible.
While being one of the most exquisite 3d-poker-rooms and lobbies in the World, the download-client is optimized to be downloaded faster than any other platform on the market.
Studies within Proactive Gaming have indicated that the 3d-poker mainly attracts new players and keep recreational players longer in the game.
Hardcore poker-players have the possibility to use a 2D-alternative offered on the platform.
